Pamela D. Butler, DMD
When parents tell me their kids look forward to coming to the office, I know I have done my job well. I want all children to feel safe and comfortable and for parents to participate in managing their child’s dental healthcare. I make it a priority to listen to parents and understand their concerns by focusing on one-on-one conversations. Over the years, I have enjoyed watching children grow and relish the experiences I have.
Growing up back east in Baltimore, Maryland, I have always been a coastal person and fell in love with the opportunity to live in the Pacific Northwest after my first visit to the annual Pediatric Dental Conference.
I attended undergraduate school in Maryland, and after working a few years in laboratory research, graduated from Tufts Dental School of Dental Medicine in Boston. After working with children, I narrowed my love to this clinical experience and applied to a specialty training for pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM). I am board certified and a fellow in pediatric dentistry. I focus on learning and keeping updated with the newest procedures pediatric dentistry has to offer.

Libby
Office Manager
Libby joined our practice in April 2010 and loves coming to work each day surrounded by her fun, energetic, and supportive team. She plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly and is dedicated to making every patient’s visit a positive and memorable experience.
Libby has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1993 and is a proud mom to three amazing adult children. She is now enjoying being a Gammy! Outside of work, she loves seeking out new adventures with family and friends, and her favorite place to unwind is the beach—her home away from home.
Rachel
Patient Care Coordinator
Rachel has been bringing her energy and enthusiasm to Under the Sea since 2016! Whether she’s streamlining office organization, dreaming up new ideas to help us grow, or ensuring every patient leaves with a reason to smile, she gives 110% every day. Rachel also knows sign language, which helps her connect with patients of all abilities.
When she’s not at the office, Rachel stays busy as a dedicated mom, a competitive pool player, a PC gamer, and a musician. You might even catch her at the gym, fueled by her passion for fitness!
Victoria
Insurance Coordinator
Victoria joined our practice in November 2023 and is known for greeting everyone with a smile. As our insurance expert, she takes pride in helping patients navigate their care while collaborating seamlessly with the entire team. Victoria brings a positive energy to the office and is dedicated to making every interaction smooth and enjoyable.
Bilingual in Russian and English, she connects easily with a wide range of patients. Outside of work, Victoria loves working out, hiking, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Katy
Dental Assistant
Katy has been an important part of our team since 2017 and loves working with kids—their energy keeps every day fun! She’s passionate about making every visit comfortable and enjoyable, and she keeps the office running smoothly behind the scenes.
Married to her husband, Richard, since 2010, Katy is a proud mom to a son and a daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, dancing, and getting creative with makeup and hair. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she loves connecting with patients and making everyone feel at home.
Marie
Registered Dental Assistant
Marie joined our practice in September 2021 after graduating from Pacific NW Dental Assistant School. She loves making a difference—whether it’s helping patients feel comfortable or getting to know families—and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude to everything she does. Always ready to lend a hand and learn from her coworkers and the doctor, Marie plays an important role in keeping the office running smoothly.
Outside of work, Marie enjoys traveling, camping, watching sports, and exploring new foods with her family. She is also a proud dog mom to two furry companions.
Nelly
Dental Assistant
Nelly is a valued member of our team who brings warmth, skill, and dedication to everything she does. When she joined our practice in July 2010, she brought years of experience and compassion to our patients and staff. A graduate of the Skills Center in 2007, Nelly especially loves working with kids and takes pride in making every dental visit positive, comfortable, and even fun—helping nervous or fearful patients feel at ease.
Nelly is a proud mom to twin girls and a son. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and swimming. She is also bilingual, speaking both Russian and English, which helps her connect with and support a wider range of families in our community.
Vanessa
Dental Assistant
Vanessa has been with our office since it first opened on January 16, 2006! She currently works part-time. Loves working closely with Dr. Pam. Vanessa has a way with patients of all abilities, making visits fun, comfortable, and positive—especially for kids—using humor and practical tips to help them take great care of their teeth. She treasures the long-term relationships she’s built with families over the years and values the supportive, fun team environment at our office.
Vanessa and her husband have a blended family with five children and a sweet rescue dog named Ruger, whose favorite hobbies are giving kisses and chasing squirrels. Outside of work, she volunteers, substitutes at her boys’ school, helps at church, watches Star Trek, cooks, and loves hosting friends and family for good food and laughter.
Noelle
Dental Assistant
Noelle has been a valued member of our team since November 2017 and completed her assistant training through the Clark County Skills Center. A true team player, she enjoys working closely with her coworkers and the doctor and brings a positive, supportive energy to the office each day.
Noelle is part of a blended family with her husband, Ernesto, whom she married in 2023. Together, they are raising her son and a daughter, along with his children. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending quality time with her family.
